I had heard great things about Phoenix before hiring him and his team, knew several people who had used them, and even knew they had built the deck at my previous home before I took possession of it. I had even consulted Phoenix, himself, on a base for my hot tub at my last house and he guided me to a better, more affordable solution that didn’t give him the work, but would be better value for me. So when I needed a deck at my new home, I knew I had to hire Phoenix and his team, and they absolutely lived up to their reputation. Before I had even taken possession of my new home, Phoenix met with me to start planning the deck so that everything could move as quickly as possible once I got the keys. He was proactive about the permit process and took the time to walk me through multiple design and pricing options to find the best solution within my budget. What I appreciated most was the amount of thought he put into helping me make smart, long-term decisions. We discussed the pros and cons of building a smaller interim deck and expanding it later, different options for adding privacy, and waterproofing systems that would keep the area underneath the deck dry and usable. He priced out the different approaches and helped me understand where it made sense to spend more now versus where I could save, always focusing on getting the best overall value for my money. Once construction started, I was genuinely blown away by how quickly the team worked. In just days, I had a massive, beautiful deck, and the quality of the workmanship was impeccable. The attention to detail and finished product exceeded my expectations. From the early planning and budgeting through to construction, the entire experience was fantastic. Both sides of our old fence collapsed due to high winds, so contacted Phoenix for an estimate. He was very professional and after getting another estimate, went with him. His crew showed up, removed the old fence, drilled holes for the new posts, then the crew showed up on day 3 and worked mostly in the rain to finish all the walls and gates. I had Phoenix build our deck a couple of years ago, and I can honestly say it was one of the best investments we've made in our home. Even after Canadian winters, it still looks incredible and remains solid, level, and beautifully finished. From the initial design and planning to the final installation, Phoenix was professional, reliable, and meticulous with every detail. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and we've received countless compliments from friends, family, and neighbours. What impressed me most was the quality of the build.
